National Prayer Vigil for Life
Opening Mass of the National Prayer Vigil for Life will be held at 5:30 pm on Thursday January 17, 2018 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Chairman of the USCCB’s Committee on Pro-Life Activities, will be the principal celebrant and homilist.

Mass for Life
The Mass for Life and the Rally for Life will take place at Verizon Center. If you are interested in attending this event, please contact Jomy (847.989.8233) and state your intention to attend. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis, as the tickets available are limited.
Doors open at 7.00 AM to Verizon Center. The rally begins at 7.30 AM. We must enter Verizon Center by 8AM before the rally opens doors to people on the waiting list. After 8.00 AM even if you have a ticket, you are not guaranteed entrance. Tickets are sold out at 18,000+. Once you enter Verizon Center, you cannot leave and reenter.
Waiver: Please print and sign the waiver in the following link.
This waiver allows the Archdiocese of Washington to use pictures and/or videos of you at the rally. Please return the waiver to Jomy. You will not receive a rally ticket unless you give Jomy a waiver.
Food: Food will be available for purchase at Verizon Center. Please bring money so that you can purchase something to eat. Only small signs/banners and small backpacks (bring snacks and drinks) will be allowed in Verizon Center.
March for Life:
March for Life is one of the largest pro-life gatherings in the world. In 2018, the march was much larger than recent years, with around 500,000 people attended in the March. Please follow the instructions given below for a peaceful participation in the event.
Buses can drop off at 7th street and Independence Ave (-see the map below). Please arrive before 12.30 PM.
We recommend parking your car at the Greenbelt Metro Station and (1) taking the GREEN line train into DC, (2) exit at L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station, (3) transfer to the BLUE line at L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station going toward Franconia-Springfield, and (4) exit at the Smithsonian Metro Station. Travel time is 45 minutes to take the train from the Greenbelt metro station to the National Mall.
Youth attending Youth Rally at Verizon Center:
We will leave Verizon Center together. Just follow the group group to the 4life meeting spot at the national mall (7th street and Jefferson Street-see the map below).
All 4Life marchers will gather at the national mall (7th street and Jefferson Street-see the map below). After a short prayer we join the rest of the marchers at the Constitution Avenue.
